Who is eligible?
- Full time faculty
- Chamberlain administration
- Adjunct faculty requests will be considered with the approval of the program dean.
How long does it take to get an article?
Requests are processed M-F during business hours and may take up to five business days to be delivered.
What type of materials can be ordered?
Article requests are limited to those items available in our document delivery system.
Only scholarly research articles for Chamberlain projects and committee work will be requested. Items that cannot be ordered include:
- Requests for conference abstracts, editorials and non-research articles
- Print and media items
How many articles can be requested?
- No more than 5 articles per day
- No more than 10 articles per patron in a calendar year. If additional articles are needed, approval of the program dean will be required.
Limitations
- Faculty request costs will be charged back to the requestor's program, so approval of the program dean is required.
- A Chamberlain email address is required.
- The maximum cost for a single article request is set to $45. We can order articles that exceed this maximum cost on a case by case basis, but the ordering of these articles will count for two articles toward the total of the allotted 10 articles per calendar year for a patron.
- Articles are ordered for the sole use of the patron and are not to be redistributed or included in courses.
