Library Purchase Requests for Students

Purchase Request Policy

All purchase requests must be submitted using the Purchase Request form specified in the Student Purchasing Request Procedure. Upon review of the purchase request, the Collection Development Librarian will supply information and recommendations regarding the resource to the Library Director. The resource must be the most recent edition and it must be a current resource that lends value to a course or program.

Once the Library Director has made a decision, the Collection Development Librarian will inform the student requestor. If the Purchase Request has been denied, the Collection Development Librarian will supply reasoning for the decision. If the Purchase Request is approved, the Collection Development Librarian will contact the student requestor and provide instruction on how to access the newly added resource.
