One of the best sources for drug information is the Micromedex database.

To use Micromedex, follow the steps below:

1. Enter the database through the link above.

2. Select the type of search you would like to do using either the top menus, or use the search box and select either Drug, Disease or Toxicology depending on what type of information you are looking for.

The DynaMed database is another place to find drug information. It has an A-Z drug list, information on drug interactions and calculators that might be of assistance.

To access these tools, follow the steps below: 

1. Enter the database through the link above.

2. Select the item you are interested in using the options listed at the top of the page.

In addition to the drug information found in databases, you can also look in books to find additional information. Here are several drug handbooks from the library that give information about different drugs. You can find additional eBooks on this topic by doing a search on the library homepage.
